  • Obtain application
  • All Applications Require Official Transcripts be
    mailed
  • Note and follow deadlines
  • Complete application and return to guidance with
    transcript release form
  • Allow 5-10 working days for processing
  • Read everything very carefully as each school
    does things differently

  • More colleges prefer that you apply on-line.
  • Make sure to print the counselor page and bring
    to guidance with the transcript release form
  • If there is no counselor page to print, fill out
    the transcript request form.

General Rule of Thumb
  • The higher the GPA the sooner you should apply
    merit money is available
  • Research and apply first semester
  • 3 to 5 colleges
  • Scholarship and financial aid second semester
