Infections in the Sudan 1997

• Chloroquine resistance was found to be 25 or
  more in 5 sentinel post.
• This emphasizes on the need for revision of the
  current malaria treatment policies in Sudan.

• The STD dose of one tablet 15mg/kg for 14 days
  0.25mg/kg for children.
• Following up 4weeks STR LTR.
• No relapse occurred no resistance to CQ.
