• A CIF Catalog (Catalog Interchange Format) -
  comma-separated list of catalog items and their
  attributes.

• Punch-out Catalog - live web based catalogs that
  a supplier hosts.

• Contract Catalog catalogs that contain only
  items on state contract.

• Non-Contract Catalog catalogs that contain
  items not on state contract.

Key Terms

• Ariba - the backbone software behind eVA. It is
  where your orders are routed and where catalogs
  are loaded.

• Uploading a Catalog transferring a catalog file
  from your computer to the Internet (Ariba).

• Publishing a Catalog authorizing a catalog to
  be viewed by Buyers.
• Private Catalogs catalogs that can only be seen
  by authorized buyers
• Public Catalogs catalogs that can be seen by
  any Ariba customer (Buying Institution).
