Title V
  • Title V grants are awarded to Hispanic Serving
    Institutions to assist eligible colleges to
    expand their capacity to better serve their
    students.
  • The goal of the Title V CO-OP program is to guide
    education majors from high school to BC through
    the baccalaureate programs at FAU and to place
    highly qualified teachers in Broward County
    schools.

AI New age O.D. philosophy
  • AI proposes to engage those within an
    organization to renew, change, and focus
    performance in order to improve organizational
    effectiveness.
  • Has been used in business, health care systems,
    social profit organizations, educational
    institutions, communities, governments and
    religious institutions including McDonalds, the
    U.S. Navy, and Save the Children.

4 stages of the AI process
  • Discover Identify the processes that work well
  • Dream envision processes that would work well
  • Design plan and prioritize change
  • Destiny execution of the design

The ethnographic process
  • A particular way of asking questions and
    envisioning the future that fosters positive
    relationships and builds on the basic goodness in
    a person, a situation, or an organization.
  • Involves social interviewing, group interviews
    (AI summits) focusing on large diverse groups to
    identify and build on the organizations best
    practices.
