Charles W. Flanagan H.S.Inventory Process

The School Board now requires us to take a
complete inventory four times per year. You
will receive a ROOM INVENTORY form soon which
lists the equipment in each room. We are asking
that you match the equipment on the sheet with
the actual equipment in the room. Details of this
process are given in the following slides.
Police Reports will be filed on any items you
report missing so please be careful when
completing this. If you have questions about
the form, please contact Randy ODowd or Ms.
Arata immediately. After completing your room
inventory, return the signed form to Ms. Arata
3
There are many numbers on School Board equipment
the two numbers that you are looking for
are BPI Broward Property Inventory This
begins with the YEAR an item was purchased. Ex
04-12345 means that this was purchased in
2004. This number is NOT always etched or written
on a piece of equipment. SERIAL Number On DELL
Computers this is a 7 character number (
containing numbers and letters) . The attached
photos show where you can find the serial numbers
of different devices. On Printers, the serial
numbers are different lengths.
