    them after class
  • Carver Elementary
  • Teacher is seen as a motherly figure, uses a
disappointed tone rather than an angry tone.
  • A child was misbehaving so she simply stated
"Having trouble today remembering the rules of
    our room?"

13
Discipline
  • Hoover St. Elementary
  • No student needed to be disciplined while
observing, but the teacher said that he usually
gives them a warning first and then sends them to
the principal's office. He said on the whole
that his class is pretty well behaved.

for the first ten minutes of class they all
walked in and began their work without having
    been told to.

teacher several students showed lack of respect
    toward other students.

were well-behaved high school juniors and
seniors.  Teacher could have asked students
    to quiet stray conversations.

    an applied project.
  • USC/32 St. Magnet
