  in Nursing and Social work practice

Teaching and Learning Approach

• Lecture presentation on definitions,
  developmental process, theoretical models and
  application to 2 case scenarios- an African child
  in care, wanting to be placed with just white
  families and a boy of mixed parentage
  experiencing bullying by black boys in his new
  school.
• Bring, show and tell each student to bring 3
  items, to show and tell the seminar group how the
  items expresses their ethnic identity.
