Believe It or Not!

• During the Victorian period, drinking soda water
  was considered improper, so some towns made it
  illegal to sell Ice Cream Sodas on Sundays.
• One Sunday, in the late 1800s, The Ice Cream
  Sunday was invented when someone fixed an Ice
  Cream Soda with syrup, instead of with soda.
• The Y in Sunday was replaced with an E to
  avoid upsetting religious leaders.

• Several scoops of vanilla ice-cream.
• Top with some chocolate syrup, some whipped
  cream, and a sprinkling of nuts.
• Cap with a glace cherry.
