The four types of mountain

• There are four types of mountain in the world-
• 1 folded most of the mountain
• 2 fault block ranges in the world
• 3 upwarp are folded mountains.
• 4 volcanic

Folded mountain

• A folded mountain is created when the earths
  plates squish together pushing them upwards
  creating a folded mountain.

Volcanic mountain

• A volcanic mountain is also known as a volcano.
  These mountains can be highly dangerous. This is
  a picture of Mt Vesuvius. If you have heard the
  story of this volcano, you will know how deadly
  volcanoes are. There are 3 types of volcano
  active, dormant and extinct. Active means it
  erupts still, dormant hasnt erupted for years
  and extinct shows no sign of life and hasnt
  erupted for centuries. This is the body of
  someone who suffered the wrath of Vesuvius.

Snow Skiing

• Snow skiing is a popular sport which takes place
  on mountains in cold and snowy places. People
  like to often go skiing on the snowy mountains of
  Austria.

Ice climbing

• As well as skiing down mountains some people
  climb up mountains! This is a movie of someone
  ice climbing.
