• I am the Cheetah, pale yellow with spots,
• I typically prey on gazelles because eating cows
  gets me shot,
• You can hear my purr from twenty feet,
• Im very happy when I eat meat.

• You can find me in the desert extreme,
• Ill probably be with my brotherly team,
• We play, we groom, we sleep at night,
• If you come across us well put up a fight.

• Im like light,
• Speedy and bright,
• Im the fastest animal on the land,
• Always thinking I can, I can, I can.

• When my brothers and I hunt we try not to miss,
• But if some lions come we have to hiss,
• The lion that came scared away our great
  galloping gazelle dinner,
• So all of us got a little bit thinner.

• Africa is the continent we call home,
• If you come visit us youll see us roam,
• Curious cubs crave lots of attention,
• So mothers protect them from all intervention.

• Some people were watching us from the CCF,
• And they saw us miss a meal so they brought a
  great chef,
• But now we need help getting off the endangered
  species list,
• So dont let us get chased by buses full of
  tourists.

• Our group of 12,000 is dwindling down,
• So all of you tourists stay out of our wildlife
  town,
• We need more help from things like CITES Appendix
  I,
• Because once were extinct its finished,
• Its final,
• Its done.
