Outcome of Stakeholder Working Group on the

  • Expect a recommendation at the turn of the year
    from the EU Commission to the EUs Parliament and
    Council of Ministers to revise the 2015 Target in
    the Directive.

Effect of the 2006 shredded tyres landfill ban on
the application of the ELV Directive Annex I
dismantling requirements
  • Tyres will have to be removed before shredding,
    unless all shredded tyre pieces are removed from
    any shredder residue going for landfill.
