  • FACMAN is a web-based application that interfaces
    to the OPEFM Work Order Management System (TMA)

FACMAN - Overview
  • OPEFMs web-based work request system
  • Allows our customers to
  • Submit and log requests for services in real-time
    from any location that has access to the DCPS
    Intranet
  • Automatically receive email notifications on
    submittal and subsequent status changes
  • Generate status reports for work requests and
    work orders by building or area
  • View published reports, such as building list,
    room list, staff list, etc.
  • User Guide link is available from the web page

FACMAN Submit a Request
  • Enter website http//facman.k12.dc.us
  • Click Submit a Request
  • Select the Facility associated with the request
  • Populate required information indicated with an
    asterisk ()
  • Type specific details in the Request field
  • Click the Submit button to process the request
  • The web page will refresh indicating a successful
    submission
  • A confirmation email will be sent with the
    request number
  • Subsequent emails will be generated upon status
    changes (converted to work order, assigned,
    rejected, completed)

FACMAN Locate a Work Order or Request
  • Work Order or Request Number is known
  • Proceed to Search by Number section in left
    window pane
  • Select the appropriate category (Work Order or
    Request)
  • Type the work order or request number in the text
    field
  • Click Go button to locate the Work Order or
    Request
  • The page will refresh with the details of the
    work order or request

FACMAN Search for Request or Work Order
  • Work Order or Request Number is not known
  • Proceed to the appropriate option Query Request
    or Query Work Order in left window pane
  • Click the desired category
  • Select the Ward and click Go button
  • Populate the search criteria (facility, date
    range, etc.)
  • Click Go button to execute the search
  • The page will refresh with a list of Work Orders
    or Requests with a description that match the
    search parameters
  • Select the desired Work Order or Request from the
    list to display the details
