    to our classroom.

Goals
  • To give you the academic tools you need to
    progress to 7th grade.
  • To provide a supportive learning environment.
  • To have fun while we learn.
  • To make new friends and discover new interests.

Class Content
  • We will cover all the material that the state
    believes is important for you to learn.
  • We will cover the materials that TCAPs will test
    you over

Reading
  • We will be doing 2 novel studies this year
  • Sarah Plain and Tall
  • Bridge To Terabithia

Language Arts
  • Along with Reading I will be teaching Language
    Arts
  • We will be concentrating on using punctuation and
    grammar correctly in writing and speaking

  • Be On Time
  • Be Prepared

  • All homework should be turned in on the assigned
    due date
  • Where do I turn assignments in?
  • What if you turn in work late?
  • What if I forget to put my name on my paper?

Tardiness
  • If you are tardy.
  • Have a note from the office
  • Have a note from the teacher
  • I like to know where you are for your safety
  • If it becomes continuous, without a note,
    consequences will occur
