• Peak load 55520 lbs.
• Cylinder 2 one layer of fiber wrapping
• Failure type moderately slow
• Compressive strength 9309 psi.
• Peak load 117000 lbs.
• Cylinder 3 three layer of carbon fiber wrap
• Failure type relatively slow
• Compressive strength 14640.0 psi
• Peak load 184000 lbs

Conclusion

• Fiber wrapping greatly increases the compressive
  strength of concrete cylinders
• It is a simple non-invasive method to retrofit
  existing concrete structures
