• Introduction of 500-lit milk chilling vats at
  milk collection center/Coops
• For evening milk collection to mountain and small
  milk producing areas (as primary chilling vats)
• Suitable to run in rural areas (run by single
  phase electricity)
• Local fabrication for easy maintenance
• To improve raw milk quality for reducing milk
  spoilage during raw milk transportation
• Other stakeholders (DDC, dairies etc.) has put
  fund for acquiring small chilling vats

• Successful operation/management of chilling vats
  by dairy cooperatives
• Scenario of establishment of milk chilling vats
  at milk collection points/coops (by milk
  cooperatives and private dairies)

  for effective hands-on training
