Ways to RETURN products.

On receipt of goods...

• If damaged in transit
• Do not sign for goods / or if signed for write
  comments on POD slip with driver explaining what
  was damaged
• Notify us within 3 working days of
• any sales errors
• any discrepancy with delivery eg. Missing product
• Failure to inform us can result in rejection at a
  later stage if wishing to return/ receive credit
• Notify us within Manufacturers DOA period
• any DOA products (speak to your sales
  representative for Clarification)

Requesting an RMA...

• Complete an RMA form
• Ensure all fields are completed
• NB. Please provide a good description in the
  reason for return field
• Unacceptable RMA reasons are (1) Faulty (2)
  Intermittent (more

  errors are required)
• (4) Windows Errors (5) Incompatible (with

• If authorised you will be given an RMA No
• This will end with a letter indicating what
  action has been taken for your replacement

Microtronica Returns TCs...

• RMA numbers must be clearly visible on the outer
  transit packaging and a copy of this form
  accompanying each package
• Where more than 1 authorised RMA are returned
  together each item must be clearly identified
  with its correct RMA number. Failure to comply
  will result in rejection.
• Hard Drives motherboards CD Rom drives and any
  circuit board type product must be returned with
  sufficient protection for transit otherwise
  these may be rejected.
• When returning faulty products you only need to
  return the bare board there is no need to return
  all accessories.
• When returning products due to sales errors
  warehouse errors etc. Items will only be accepted
  if complete in their original packaging with the
  manufactures seal intact and with all supplied
  documentation drivers cables and accessories
  unless otherwise stated.
• Static sensitive devices must be packaged in
  appropriate anti-static bags otherwise warranty
  may be void.
• Items defaced in any way eg. Additional labels or
  markings on product or its original packaging
  which can not be easily removed will jeopardise
  the RMA validation.
• All products returned for credit must be in fully
  re-sellable condition (Microtronica will
  determine if the product is in re-sellable
  condition).
• All RMA numbers are valid for 21 days from the
  date of issue. Fault descriptions must be
  comprehensive please use additional sheet if
  necessary.
• RMA Numbers must be used as your shipping/
  forwarder reference when returning authorised
  RMAs to Microtronica. Microtronica will not sign
  for any parcel box or package unless the RMA
  number is present on the Forwarders manifest/ job
  sheet as your delivery reference.
• Product returned under warranty is subject to
  investigation by the manufacturer. Credit will
  only be issued where the manufacturer which may
  lead to delays in issuing credit confirms fault.
• All memory returned as faulty will be tested. If
  diagnosed ok this will result in rejection. (A
  full test report will be returned with the
  memory).
• Any discrepancy with your order e.g short
  shipment or sales error must be reported in
  writing within 3 working days.
• DOA products must be reported within
  manufacturers DOA period.
• Product that cannot be replaced or upgraded will
  be credited at a price determined by the
  manufacturer.
• Credit will only be issued at current market
  price.
