Test Plan
  • 12 required tests, 21 optional, 3 optional
    network tests
  • Organized into 7 Rounds
  • Grouped related tests together (e.g. Reply
    Forward)
  • Some tests can be done simultaneously (these are
    noted in test plan)
  • Each test must be performed twice
  • Product must send and receive
  • Can be done simultaneously
  • Where applicable, tests should be done for both
    Desktop Telset clients

Unified View Marketing Proposal
  • The Unified View, a wholly owned subsidiary of
    the American Eagle Group, proposes to provide
    marketing support for the VPIM initiative.
  • The Unified View will maintain best efforts to
    accomplish the services listed.
  • The price can be adjusted by increasing or
    decreasing the number of hours retained per month.

Service to be Provided
  • 1. Average of 15 hours of support per month in
    the following activities.
  • 2. Refreshing the VPIM website with new
    information
  • 3. Placing proper key words in VPIM website and
    submitting it to search engines
  • 4. Actively promoting VPIM through regular
    articles in a number of venues - magazines,
    electronic newsletters, letters to editors, etc.
  • 5. Regular press releases concerning VPIM
    activities
  • 6. VPIM highlights on the Unified View website
  • 7. Developing and refreshing a "VPIM" glossary
  • 8. Developing VPIM use scenarios

  • 9. Developing VPIM case studies
  • 10. Write-ups of VPIM events such as meetings,
    bake-offs, pavilions, etc.
  • 11. Write whitepaper (5 pages or so) describing
    VPIM in layman's terms, what it can do, how it
    can be used, what vendors support it listing
    products/services and version numbers (paper will
    be updated as new versions of VPIM are supported
    by vendors)
  • 12. Promotion of VPIM through presentations at
    major conferences that are part of the Unified
    View's normal speaking schedule.
  • 13. Help organizing VPIM events

Costs
  • Retainer for monthly involvement
  • 3000/month billed monthly net 15.
  • Retainer includes normal office expenses.
    Additional hours about 20 hours for a particular
    month are billed individually at 200/hr.
  • Additional support
  • Presentation of VPIM capabilities at conferences
    outside of the Unified View's normal speaking
    schedule or booth support
  • Support at special VPIM events
  • Additional services as needed.
  • Travel and expenses plus 500/day are extra of
    the normal monthly retainer.
