followings are underlying skills that you
use in learning the skills and concepts in most
of our CAOT classes. - These skills help you in achieving your goal of
successfully completing current class.
3Who needs to challenge
- If you have taken equivalent of introduction to
computers at any other institution you do not
have to challenge. (do nothing.) - If you have acquired basic computing skills by
working with them (at home or in office) then
you may challenge the prerequisite.

- Knowledge of Windows operating system
- Windows XP Vista
- Windows navigation skills
- Minimize maximize and resize windows
- Multitasking
- Move or copy information between programs
5 Thorough knowledge of following File management
tasks
- Creating editing and saving files using Word
or WordPad - Creating and Organizing (moving copying
renaming deleting) folders using windows or MAC
operating system - Knowledge of Windows accessories such as notepad
WordPad and paint

- E-Mail
- Searching
- Navigating using Internet Explore Netscape

program or other compression technique
