every year due to alcohol.
Your city has the eigth
largest amount of meth users
out of the entire nation.

So whats the problem?
Critics say our money shouldnt be spent on
something that cant be scientifically
proven. They say that DARE doesnt work because
the statistics havent changed.

Let's see what the critics say.
10 out of 10 students say YES, I did pay
attention to DARE. 9 out of 10 students say YES,
DARE has kept them or will keep them from using
drugs and alcohol.

What's being done?
DARE has recently changed its curriculum. DARE
has added creative extra curricular activities.
Ex. DARE Dance

What else can we do?
The students say, Add more life like curriculum.
We want to see real people and find out their
true stories. Students say, Dont lie to us.
Tell us the truth about what drugs do to people.

I Say
Lets keep the DARE program and expand it.
Lets make DARE mandatory for middle school and
high school. Lets think of creative ways to
reach the students. Ask them, they know what they
need for support.
