• The Largest Ship afloat at the time
• Had two other sister ships
• Set Sail for America in 1914

General Information

• On April 15th, 1912 the Titanic slipped beneath
  the surface of the Atlantic
• It hit an ice burg causing it to sink
• Not enough lifeboats were aboard
• So many people did not survive
• This was one of the biggest disasters of its time

Hypothesis

• We are going to compare the survival rates
  between crew members and passengers.
• Hypothesis Crew members survived at a higher
  rate then the passengers

• Hypothesis was incorrect
• We found that that more passengers were lost in
  the wreck than that of crew members
• However, more passengers survived than crew
  members

• The results show that there was a higher
  percentage of crew members lost in the disaster.
• They also show that a slightly higher percentage
  of passengers survived

Summary

• The Titanic will always be known and remembered
  in history because of its great significance of
  its time.
• It opened the doors for world traveling and safer
  ships
