Preguntas

• When asking a question in Spanish, the subject
  comes after the verb.
• Tienes tú un pollo de goma? Do you have a rubber
  chicken?
• Habla la profesora alemán? Does the teacher
  speak German?
• Notice that the Do or Does part of the
  question is not translated. Its sort of like
  speaking Old English, Have you a rubber
  chicken?
• The upside down question mark will always go in
  front of the question part of a statement.
  Sometimes, that is not necessarily in the
  beginning of the sentence.
• A propósito, estudias en Hogwarts? By the way,
  do you study at Hogwarts?
• La profesora es un poco extraña, verdad? The
  teacher is a bit strange, right?

Important question words you need to know
Dónde? Adónde? De dónde? Qué?
Cuál? Cuáles? Quién? Quiénes?
Por qué? Cómo? Cuánto? Cuándo?

Complementos

complementos).
Complementos are called objects in English.
Direct objects, complementos directos, receive
the action of the verb. I eat the apple. Como la
manzana. I throw the book. Tiro el
libro. People can be direct objects too. I can
throw students as well as I can throw apples.
But if a person is your direct object, you have
to add a in front of it. Tiro a la
estudiante. Tiro al estudiante. (al ael)
