What is the Wesley.
The Wesley is a campus ministry sponsored by the
United Methodist Church to most major state
supported colleges and Universities. The Wesley
Foundations are as varied as the campuses they
serve because their ministry is tailored to meet
the needs of the students, faculty and staff of
the campus, The common thread of all United
Methodist Foundations if Love, Unconditional LOVE
is what you will find at the Wesley Foundation at
T.S.U.

Vision Statement
The Wesley at Texas Southern University is a
spiritual refuge where the presence of God is
evident through edification, encouragement and
the empowerment of Christian leaders for the
church and the community.

Mission Statement
The mission of the United Methodist Wesley
Foundation at Texas Southern University is to
provide a Christ centered atmosphere to the TSU
community that will Edify through
knowledge Encourage through service, and
Empower through community.

From the Director. . .
At the Wesley we are anchored in Jesus, touching
people, changing lives, and empowering a new
generation of Christian leaders. We are fully
persuaded and totally committed to Christ. We
are excited about the work God is doing. The
Wesley is a place to gather for Bible Study, for
lunch, to study, to meet friends, and to relax.
It is a home away from home. I am extending a
personal invitation to everyone to visit the
Wesley. Our hearts, our minds and our doors are
