2This is the NASA rocket garden, it has loads of
rockets rather than flowers. Next to the rockets
are signs, like in our woodland garden.
3This is another picture of the rocket garden with
me standing in it. In the background you can see
other rockets and the SA-209 (Saturn Lander 209)
but it did not land on Saturn it just went into
space.
4This is a picture of the second stage of the
Saturn rocket . The Saturn rocket has 4 stages..

7- This is a picture of a Mockup shuttle you could
go in it and we did. When we went inside you
could see the following - The cabin were the crew lives.
- The cargo bay (were they store equipment)
- The main cabin(or cockpit were they steer)
And that is all you could see.
8- Shuttle Main Engine
- Used in 3 orbiters
- First used in 1983 on Challenger
- Engine has been on 15 flights
- It was very large!
9- These are the shuttle fuel tanks and booster
rockets. - This would be my Grandmother me.
- As you can see by the scale, the fuel tanks are
HUGE!!!

10This is the super highway were the shuttle
transporter moves the shuttle. The base of this
road is 7 feet deep to support the weight of the
shuttle and transporter.
11The road goes between the Vehicle Assembly
Building and
12The shuttle launch pad. This journey takes 7-8
hours.
13Shuttle Transporter Each cleat weighs one ton.
It goes at speeds up to one mile per hour.
