Prioritization Process
  • To optimize use of resources within departments
    to accomplish mission.
  • Some departments are well along in the process
  • Others are just beginning.
  • Our 05-06 goal is to move from prioritized lists
    of programs and services to implementation plans.

    structure.

Summary of 2004-05 Prioritization Efforts
  • Most departments were able to conduct a
    prioritization process
  • Approximately half followed the formal process
  • The other half used the criteria for a more
    qualitative analysis of services
  • Divisional effort SSEP consolidation from
    University Advising Center and Educational Equity
    Services.

Summary of 2005-06 Prioritization Efforts
  • At our Leadership Group Retreat on September 13,
    2005 we reviewed our divisional priorities in
    light of the vision that the President shared at
    fall conference, which focused on insuring that
    Cal Poly Pomona is a learning-centered
    University, focused on student success.
