NHTSA-NETS Cooperative Agreement
  • Determine the feasibility of implementing the
    screening
  • and brief intervention (SBI) model in the
    workplace setting
  • Year One
  • Convened expert advisory panel.
  • Conducted literature on SBI in medical and
    non-medical settings.
  • Designed employer and vendor assessments to
    determine current workplace practices to
    recognize and manage alcohol use, abuse and
    dependence.
