  • Dear Retail Colleague,
  • during October The Telegraph features more
    fantastic value offers to entice your customers
    into the newspaper.
  • Zizzi 50 off at Zizzi with just over 100
    restaurants spread across towns, cities,
    neighbourhoods and high streets Zizzi are
    passionate about food, they offer a warm and
    welcoming venue with a superb menu. The promotion
    commences in paper from Saturday 10th until
    Friday 16th October all the consumer needs to do
    is present the in paper voucher at their chosen
    restaurant.
  • Two Free DVDs - The Telegraph is giving away two
    fantastic DVDs on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th
    October. On Saturday we have E.M. Forsters
    Where Angels Fear to Tread starring Helen
    Mirren, Helena Bonham Carter and Rupert Graves
    and on Sunday A Handful of Dust based on the
    book by Evelyn Waugh with Kristin Scott Thomas,
    James Wilby, Judi Dench amongst many others
    both movies are certificate PG.
  • Newspaper of the Weekend - Making the Telegraph
    your Newspaper of the Weekend during October
    will clearly increase sales. Previous measured
    sales trials have seen a positive increase in
    sales by as much as 10 per cent. Simple
    suggestions include giving the Telegraph a
    secondary display, such as a counter hotspot and
    offering the newspaper to customers at the till
    point. Selling just one extra copy of the
    Telegraph every day equates to almost 100 profit
    pa.
  • Maximise your Sales - Simply talking up and
    pre promoting the offers at the till point in
    advance of the promotion are an effective sales
    driver. Being at the heart of the community, you
    will know your non Telegraph regular customers
    and have a good understanding of their personal
    tastes, advising them about a forthcoming
    promotion and demonstrating the added value
    these promotions provide will bring in additional
    sales and revenue. You may also want to offer to
    Shop Save or Home Deliver these promotional
    issues for your customers. If you have a store
    website we also suggest that you advertise these
    promotions on your site either in your
    Promotional or Special Offers section thus
    generating further interest in the promotions /
    your store.
