  • Make sure key is off when you hook up scanner to
    the car
  • Must Power up and Ground to vehicle
  • Must Program to vehicle
  • Must make sure correct software
  • Make sure correct cables connectors
  • Make connections to self test connector
  • Make sure you are connected to correct connector
  • Perform tests in correct sequence
