1 John 228, Now, little children, abide in
Him, so that when He appears, we may have
confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame
at His coming.

Gods love is manifested in three ways.1)
Toward us - verse 7-8. 2) In us - verse 9,
12.3) With us - verse 17.

In spiritual maturity, we operate in the Love of
Christ, and have confidence of blessings and
rewards in the eternal state.

This confidence is not placed in ourselves but
in our Judge, Jesus Christ.

Eternal Security and Confidence are two
different things.

1) Eternal security is inherited at salvation.
Confidence is acquired through living inside
GPS.

2) Eternal security is permanent and cannot be
destroyed through failure in the Christian life.

Confidence in God is temporary, a virtue which
can be destroyed by residence in Satan's Cosmic
System or through dependence on man rather than
God. Psa 1188

Psa 1188,It is better to take refuge in the
LORD than to trust in man.

3) Eternal security is a guarantee never to be
lost.John 1027-30 Rom 835 2 Cor 55 Eph

Confidence toward God is a virtue to be
manufactured inside GPS.

4) Eternal Security is inherited, can not be
destroyed, permanent and guaranteed, therefore,
we look to it in faith and gain confidence for
today and for tomorrow.

God never meant for people to live in fear.

Anyone who has never trusted in Christ ought to
be afraid. But Christians should never be afraid
