1. Introduction
  • 704 sections and 12,884 records (titles,
    paragraphs, and graphics) as of April 1st, 2004.
  • Uses high-end live publishing software (Live
    Publish from NextPage ) that supports XML
    standards for CD/DVD and Internet publishing
  • Can be exported to XML information objects for
    reuse in other registries and repositories.
  • Can be federated with other registries and
    repositories that support Web Services standards
    (SOAP messaging).
  • Supports navigation and search across multiple
    registries and repositories (e.g. the DRM Pilot
    Registry and Repository).
  • Is the EA On-line Resource for use by the
    participants in Componenttechnology.org (see
    slides 4-7).

  • The CIO Council's Architecture and Infrastructure
    Committee has a FY03 work plan task (Governance
    Subcommittee) to compile and reconcile (as best
    possible) the terminology used in eGovernment,
