ELLLI Application Process

• Determine which site your team wants to attend
• Choose your team members (Building level)
• (School Principal/Administrator, Staff Developer,
  Content Teacher, ELL/Bilingual Teacher)
• Complete the district/building demographic data
• ( ELL students, teachers endorsed in
  ESL/bilingual education)

ELLLI - Application Process

• District rationale for participation
• Two pages or less
• Describe how ELLLI will benefit your
  school/building
• Be sure to address the criteria in the rubric
• Application due on September 14, 2007
• Districts will be notified by November 2, 2007
• Districts must accept with a signed letter of
  agreement by November 9, 2007

ELLLI Other Details!

• Teams of ESUs and Institutions of Higher
  Education will be invited to participate as space
  is available
• Districts with more than 1,000 ELL students may
  be able to send two teams (subject to space
  available)
• Participants will cover mileage, lodging, and
  meals
• All other expenses will be covered by NDE and NCCC
