  • ENSURE WEAPON IS CLEAR
  • OPEN ACTION
  • Remove adapter sleeve assembly.
  • Unscrew and remove upper adapter sleeve from
    lower adapter sleeve.
  • Unscrew and remove magazine tube extension
    assembly from magazine tube coupling and remove
    loosened lower adapter sleeve assembly.

  • REMOVE BARREL
  • Unscrew and remove magazine coupling. Magazine
    spring is under tension.
  • Remove magazine spring.
  • Remove magazine follower.
  • Ensure action is open/fore-end to the rear
  • Pull barrel forward to disengage from magazine
    tube.

DISASSEMBLY CONT
  • REMOVE FORE-END AND BREECH BOLT ASSEMBLIES
  • Depress front left shell latch and slide.
    Fore-end off magazine tube.
  • Remove breech bolt assembly (with locking and
    slide)

  • REMOVE TRIGGER PLATE ASSEMBLY
  • Ensure safety is on.
  • Use punch and mallet to drive out trigger plate
    pins.
  • Grasp trigger guard, lift up and down to remove
    from receiver.

  • INSTALL BREECH BOLT BREECH SLIDE ON FORE-END
    ACTION BAR GROOVES
  • Slide fore-end with breech bolt assembly over
    magazine tube and in to receiver.
  • Depress right shell latch and move assembly
    rearward as far as possible.
  • Depress action bar lock, to fully retract action.

  • ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
  • Insert magazine follower and magazine spring into
    tube.
  • Install lower adapter sleeve onto extension.
  • Install tube extension with adapter assembly on
    the weapon.
  • Screw magazine tube extension assembly to
    magazine tube coupling.

  • TRIGGER PLATE ASSEMBLY
  • Close action.
  • Insert trigger assembly with carrier going first.
  • Push downward on the trigger guard until assembly
    is flush with receiver and holes are aligned.
  • Tap in trigger plate pins.
  • Push up on carrier until action bar lock is
    visible ride along and not override bottom edge.

FUNCTION CHECK
  • Ensure weapon is clear and fore end is locked
    forward.
  • Depress action bar lock and pull fore end to the
    rear. Feel for action bars binding.
  • Lock fore end forward.
  • With safety on, pull trigger. Weapon should not
    fire.
  • With safety off, pull trigger. Weapon should fire.

  • ENSURE WEAPON IS CLEAR
  • Safety on.
  • Fore end locked back.
  • Chamber empty.
  • Magazine tube empty.
  • With support hand on pistol grip of butt stock,
    hold shotgun upright. Keep butt stock snug
    against side of body.
  • Lock fore end forward (action closed)

LOADING CONT
  • Using support hand load shells into magazine
    tube through bottom of receiver. Push shells all
    the way in until secure in magazine.
  • Load as many rounds as needed or until magazine
    is full.

UNLOADING WITHOUT ROUND IN CHAMBER
  • Ensure safety is on.
  • Point shotgun in a safe direction.
  • Depress action bar lock and pull fore end fully
    to the rear.
  • Return fore end fully forward.
  • Close and open the action repeatedly until all
    rounds are removed and the magazine is empty.

  • Ensure safety is on.
  • Point shotgun in a safe direction.
  • Depress action bar lock and pull fore end slowly
    to the rear until the front of the shell clears
    ejection port.

  • Move the fore end forward and then to the rear.
    Catch the shell with free hand as it falls from
    ejection port.
  • Close and open the action repeatedly until all

  • Step 2 Insert muzzle into barrel-finger out of
    trigger guard.
  • Step 3 Rotate the weapon over and inspect the
    chamber, receiver, and magazine. On safe.

    non-shooting hand.
  • Step 5 With non-shooting hand load the magazine
    to capacity.
