Overview of work-life balance policies

• Based on the existing inventory updated, analyze
  the gender stereotypes in WLB policies
• A specific focus on gendered patterns of
  appropriation of these policies
• A second focus on the theoretical basis inspiring
  these policies
• 10 page report following the template

Experts interviews

• Based on the inventory, interview 7 to 9 key
  policymakers or institutional stakeholders
  involved in the field of work-life balance
• Interviews will tackle their representations of
  work-life balance and specifically the role
  played by gender stereotypes

Individual interviews with women

• Interview 7 to 9 mothers
• About 1 hour to 1 ½ hour per interview
• An interview guide will be used not a
  questionnaire
• An interview restitution grid will be send to
  each partner
• The main results will be sent to the CIR before
  the Focus Groups take place

Parents Focus Group

• Each team will receive a number of themes which
  should be discussed during the groups
• The completion of the groups allow some
  flexibility
• A Focus Group restitution grid will be provided
  in order to present the main results

Institutional Focus Group

• A case study approach
• Each team will build their own list of themes
  based on the common guidelines
• If possible, organize a second meeting of the
  same FG
• A Focus Group restitution grid will be provided
  in order to present the main results
