• How high do you start?
• How many different heights do you need?
• How many times do you roll the marble at each
  height?
• How do you determine the dependent variable?

• Record the independent variable value
• Determine the dependent variable value
• Enter data in the table
• Complete the table

• Open Excel
• Enter the x values in Column A
• Enter the y values in Column B
• You can enter the values and then enter the
  average (use a formula) or you can find average
  and enter the values
• Use Chart Wizard to create chart for the data
• Print data and chart

• Use a graphing calculator to find the line of
  best fit
• Use the line of best fit to find the estimates
• Complete the remaining sections
