The Maintenance Management Program Will
  • Give you peace of mind and
  • Give you a unique logbook and flight log that
meets all the latest Canadian Aviation
    Regulations.
  • Develop a maintenance schedule that meets the
Regulations and suits your particular needs based
    on
  • Your aircrafts maintenance requirements
    (checklist)
  • Preventative maintenance based on how and where
    you operate your aircraft.
  • Desired Aircraft Improvements (long term).
  • After each service visit, provide a status
report for your aircraft with required
    maintenance event due times.
  • Review all Airworthiness Directives for
    applicability and compliance.
  • Review all future ADs for applicability at time
    of AD issue.
  • Maintain Technical Records with a personal touch.

3
Your Commitment to the Program

cycles along with any completed snag sheets to
    Cavalier Aviation with pre-stamped envelopes.
  • Purchase current service information specific to
    your aircraft (Illustrated Parts Catalogue,
    Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletins
    Instructions)
  • Forward all ADs received and any service
    information received to Cavalier Aviation.
  • Pay all fees on time.

4
Mechanical Safety Is the Owners Responsibility.
  • no person shall conduct a take-off, or permit a
take-off to be conducted in an aircraft that is
in the legal custody and control of the person,
unless the aircraft is maintained in accordance
with... is the regulations way of saying that
you must have the required maintenance done to
keep your aircraft safe for flight.
  • The owner is the person who has legal custody
    and control of the aircraft.

5
How Much Maintenance is Really Needed?
  • All Canadian aircraft must be maintained in
accordance with a maintenance schedule that meets
the requirements of Canadian Aviation Regulations
    Standard 625.
  • The regulations give owners the choice to comply
with either Appendix B (annual inspections) and C
(out of phase items) of Standard 625 or a
maintenance schedule approved for their aircraft
(App. D which applies to commercial operators and
    POC holders).
  • Appendix B C automatically apply to small
    piston aircraft.
  • All Owners must supply a checklist of items to be
covered for their aircraft. (Most owners arent
mechanics so this can be difficult to do)
  • Compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) is
also mandatory and may be added to the
Maintenance Schedule and is extra to App. B C.

6
Are You Confident That All the Needed Maintenance
is Being Performed On Your Aircraft?
  • Do you have a checklist developed that covers all
    the necessary items due annually?
  • How do you track the out of phase items that
are due periodically, i.e. (propeller O/H, life
    limited items)?
  • Are all ADs and technical records up to date and
    in order?
  • Do you keep track of all the necessary
maintenance items for your aircrafts safety?
