Perus Capital

• Perus capital is Lima.
• Residential districts dominate a lot of the
  citys area. Near the city core these range from
  tenements to high density apartment complexes,
  some built as part of government housing programs
  in the 1960s.

Perus Population

• In 2000, Lima had about 7.4 million people.
  Perus population grew over 2.5 million residents
  since 1981, when Perus population was over 4.1
  million people.

• The Lima area is composed of 33
• Municipal districts, each with a chosen mayor and
  city.

Perus Area

• Metropolitan Lima covers an immense area, about
  1010 sq km (390 sq mi). It runs north-south along
  the Pacific coast for more than 50 km (31mi),and
  extends nearly 40 km (25 mi) from east to west.

• Perus flag has two red stripes, one white
  stripe, and pretty pictures in the middle.
