Neighborhood Watch

• Organize Neighborhood into a Watch Area
• Setup meetings and provide training
• Select Watch Captain and Co-Captain
• Follow up meetings
• Post Neighborhood Watch Signs after Participation
  Reaches a Certain Level

Computerized Child ID

• Provide High Quality Inkless Fingerprints and
  Photo of Children at No Cost to the Child
• Stores Childs Information in a Database Which
  Allows the Childs Information to be Recalled at
  a Later Time if Needed

School Resource Officer

• Places a uniformed officer in the schools
• Officer handles all police related events at the
  school
• Provides a positive interaction between officer
  and students
• Improves the relationship between the police and
  students

Drug Abuse Resistance Education

• Officer teaches fifth grade in local schools
• Helps the child to increase their self-esteem
• Provides a positive interaction between child and
  the police
• Gives the children the tools needed to resist
  drugs

Gang Resistance Education And Training

• Uniformed officer teaches the program in middle
  schools
• Teaches children the problems associated with
  gang involvement and how to handle them

Police Explorers

• Program for young men and women between the ages
  of 14 and 21
• Teaches the young people about a career in Law
  Enforcement
• Provides many community services
• Develops character in young people
• Provides training to its members

Child Seat Checkups

• Provides a place to have your child seat
  installation checked.
• Child seats are checked by Nationally Certified
  Child Safety Seat Technician
• Participates with other agencies at Child Safety
  Seat Checkups
• Educates parents in the proper installation and
  use of child safety seats
