  • The Innovation Circles are sectorial
    collaborative platforms oriented to facilitate
    cooperation among companies and the knowledge
    environment.
  • SERVICE PROVIDED TECHNOLOGY WATCH
  • Acquire information on available technologies
  • Provide analyzed information to the industry in
    order that they could efficiently meet the
    challenges resulting from global technological
    changes
  • Forecast the likely technology to be used in the
    relevant areas covered by the Innovation Circles

  • Cofinanced programme 75 /25
  • Total budget 903.185 euros
  • 20 people working in 9 different institutions
  • Main outcomes
  • Created by the end of 1999, the Innovation
    Circles have provided technology watch services
    to 200 companies, elaborating more than 300
    technology watch reports helping SMEs and
    research groups to find relevant partners.
  • Presence in other regions
  • Technology watch programmes are being developed
    in collaboration with Aragón, Navarra and
    Cantabria. Other regions as Galicia and Pais
    Vasco have established technology watch
    initiatives based in technological centres.
