The prediction of Jesus the betrayal of
Judas John 1321-26 21After saying these things,
Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified,
"Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will
betray me. 22The disciples looked at one
another, uncertain of whom he spoke. 23One of his
disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining at
table close to Jesus, 24so Simon Peter motioned
to him to ask Jesus of whom he was speaking. 25So
that disciple, leaning back against Jesus, said
to him, "Lord, who is it?" 26Jesus answered, "It
is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread
when I have dipped it." So when he had dipped the
morsel, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon
Iscariot.

Judas John 1327-30 27Then after he had taken
the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to
him, "What you are going to do, do quickly."
28Now no one at the table knew why he said this
to him. 29Some thought that, because Judas had
the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, "Buy what we
need for the feast," or that he should give
something to the poor. 30So, after receiving the
morsel of bread, he immediately went out. And it
was night.

The plan of Jesus the belief of the jury John
1318-21 18I am not speaking of all of you I
know whom I have chosen. But the Scripture will
be fulfilled, 'He who ate my bread has lifted his
heel against me.' 19I am telling you this now,
before it takes place, that when it does take
place you may believe that I am he. 20Truly,
truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I
send receives me, and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me."

Why is this story in here?
24
Why is this story in here? John 118 No one
has ever seen God, but the only God, who is at
the Fathers side, he has made him known.

but only what he sees the Father doing. For
whatever the Father does, that the Son does
likewise.

has himself borne witness about me. His voice
you have never heard, his form you have never
seen, and you do not have his word abiding in
you, for you do not believe the one whom he has
sent.

Why is this story in here? John 118 No one
has ever seen God, but the only God, who is at
the Fathers side, he has made him known. John
638-40 For I have come down from heaven, not to
do my own will but the will of him who sent me.
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I
should lose nothing of all that he has given me,
but raise it up on the last day. For this is the
will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the
Son and believes in him should have eternal life,
and I will raise him up on the last day.

because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he
also will live because of me.

Do we get this like John gets it? 1 John
11-3 1That which was from the beginning, which
we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,
which we looked upon and have touched with our
hands, concerning the word of life-- 2the life
was made manifest, and we have seen it, and
testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal
life, which was with the Father and was made
manifest to us-- 3that which we have seen and
heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too
may have fellowship with us and indeed our
fellowship is with the Father and with his Son
Jesus Christ.
