  • Some interesting points in the Bible, maybe you
    never considered.

3
Did you Know?
  • Did you know Jesus was born in Israel?
  • (Yeshua is his name in Hebrew and it means "He
    will save")

4
Did you Know?
  • the letter "J "in our alphabet was created
    about 500 years ago?

5
Did you Know?
  • The New Testament was written in Koine Greek?
  • The Greek transliteration and sound for the
    English word Jesus
  • - ??s??? - Iisous pronounced ee-ay-sooce

6
Did you Know?
  • Jesus is Jewish?

7
Did you Know?
  • Joseph and Mary were Jewish?
  • (Yoseph and Miriam)?

8
Did you Know?
  • the prophets were Jewish?

9
Did you Know?
  • the Apostles were Jewish?

10
Remember
  • I am talking about Jews in the Bible, not Jews in
    Judaism.
  • Judaism was created about 200 to 400 AD by
rabbis. There are NO rabbis in the Bible except
    Yeshua, Jesus your master.

11
  • Some people try to tell you rabbi means teacher,
it does not. In Hebrew, Moreh is a male teacher,
    morah is a female teacher.
  • Bible say
  • Matt.23
  • 8 But be not ye called Rabbi for one is your
Master, even Christ and all ye are brethren.
  • 10 Neither be ye called masters for one is
    your Master, even Christ.

12
  • Jesus never said call no man teacher.
  • John 20
  • 16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned
herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni which is to
    say, Master.
  • John 1
  • 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following,
and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto
him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted,
    Master,) where dwellest thou?

13
The word Christian appears three time in
scripture
  • Acts.1126 And when he had found him, he brought
him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a
whole year they assembled themselves with the
church, and taught much people. And the disciples
were called Christians first in Antioch.
  • Acts.2628 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost
thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
  • 1Pet.416 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed but let him glorify God
    on this behalf.

14
Think of this
  • There were no Protestants before 1500 AD nor
Catholics at the time of Messiah Yeshua / Jesus.
  • So what is the true meaning of the word
    Christian?

15
Let's define some words Christ and christian
  • Greek- Christos - Christ - Messiah - ???????
    Anointed One
  • The English word Christian below really means
Messiah followers, not meaning Protestants or
    Catholics.
  • Messiah followers - ???????? ? ?????????????

16
  • Did you know Jesus and all the Apostles did
not have a bible like we have today?
  • Jesus and the apostles read from the TaNaKh -
    acronym - ( Torah / Teaching, Nevi'im / Prophets
    and Ketivim / Writings).
  • You know this as the Old Testament. The TaNaKh
    was written Hebrew.

17

32
The New Covenant
  • What is the New Covenant
  • Gods laws would be written in our hearts sealed
with the blood of the Messiah no longer of
    animal sacrifices.

33
Who was the new covenant given to?
  • Jer.31 31 Behold, the days come, saith the
LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the
house of Israel, and with the house of Judah 33
But this shall be the covenant that I will make
    with the house of Israel

34
Who was the new covenant given to?
  • Apostle Paul quotes Jer.3131
  • Heb.8 8 For finding fault with them, he saith,
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I
will make a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah

35
A reasonable question
  • Did you joined the Israel of God yet so we can
    be in this covenant?

36
Always One God for All!
  • Exod.12 49 One law shall be to him that is
homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth
    among you
  • Num.15 16 One law and one manner shall be for
you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with
    you.
  • 29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth
through ignorance, both for him that is born
among the children of Israel, and for the
    stranger that sojourneth among them.

37
  • Jas.4 12
  • There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and
    to destroy....

38
  • In Messiah, there is only ONE body.
  • Jews and Gentiles all KEEP the same
    Commandments and Feasts of God.
  • We are all ONE in Messiah.

39
All of us need to understand
  • Eph.219 Now therefore ye (Gentiles) are no
more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens
with the saints, and of the household of God
  • 20 And are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being
    the chief corner stone
  • 21 In whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord
  • 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit.

40
We are all One in Messiah
  • Eph.36 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs,
and of the same body, and partakers of his
promise in Christ by And put no difference
between us and them, purifying their hearts by
    faith. the gospel...
  • Acts.159 And put no difference between us and
them, purifying their hearts by faith.
  • Rom.322 Even the righteousness of God which is
by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all
them that believe for there is no difference
  • Rom.1012 For there is no difference between the
Jew and the Greek for the same Lord over all is
rich unto all that call upon him.13 For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
    shall be saved

41
Gods day
  • Gods day starts in the evening.
  • Lev.2332 from even unto even, shall ye
    celebrate your sabbath.
  • Deut.166 But at the place which the LORD thy
God shall choose to place his name in, there thou
shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the
going down of the sun, at the season that thou
    camest forth out of Egypt.
  • Gods day goes from Sunset to Sunset

42
Feasts of the Lord
  • Date / Purpose / Significance to the believer
    in Messiah Yeshua

43
Spring Holy days and Feasts
  • The Spring Holy Days of the Lord were fulfilled
    by the Messiah's first coming!
  • They were a shadow or rehearsal for the 1st
coming of the Messiah / The Christ

44
Passover - Pesach
  • Nisan 14 - Yeshua died on Thursday at 300 pm
    Matt2745 - 1st. Day
  • Remembering the deliverance from Egyptian
bondage. An unblemished firstborn male lamb was
sacrificed and its blood poured on the altar. A
lamb was selected for each family, and four days
before the lamb was to be slain it was brought
into the home for a four-day examination period.
Jesus is the sacrificial lamb who died for our
sins. On Nisan 14 at the exact time the lamb was
to be slain, Jesus was slain. Jesus also had a
four-day examination period before the religious
leaders and was found without blemish.

45
Feast of Unleavened Bread Hag HaMatzah
  • Nisan 15 - a Sabbath - 1st. night- 2nd day (Fri.)
  • Leaven symbolizes sin. Unleavened Bread speaks of
sanctification. God told the Jews to cleanse all
leaven from their homes and eat only unleavened
bread, matzah, for seven days, symbolizing a holy
walk with Him. Jesus is the "Bread of Life"
without sin. Born in Bethlehem. In Hebrew,
Bethlehem means house of bread. Just as matzah is
unleavened, ( sign of no sin ) so was the Messiah
    sinless.
  • This Feast started the evening Jesus was buried.
  • Nisan 16 - a Sabbath - 2nd. night - 3nd. day
    (Sat.)

46
Day of Firstfruits Bikkurim
  • Nisan 17 - 3rd. night,
  • Nisan 17 then as the sun did rise - Mark 162
  • early the first day of the week, Sunday -Yeshua
rose from the Dead which is 3 days and 3 nights
    later
  • The first of the barley harvest was brought as an
offering to the priest in the Tabernacle/Temple.
The priest would present the first of the harvest
unto the Lord by waving them back and forth. This
reminded the Hebrews that God gave them the land,
and the harvest belonged to Him. 1 Cor.
    1520-23). Jesus' resurrection marked the
beginning of the harvest of souls. John
1223-24,32 shows Jesus was likened to a grain of
wheat falling to the ground and dying to produce
a great harvest. Jesus arose on Firstfruits.

47
  • Fifty day later is the Feast of Weeks / Shavuot-
  • Pentecost where the Holy Spirit empowered the
    believers.

48
  • Do you know that the fall Holy Days of the Lord
  • 1 - Memorial of blowing of trumpets
  • 2 - Day of Atonement
  • 3 - Feast of Tabernaclesare "shadows" of the
second coming of Messiah Yeshua / Jesus?

49
  • Let's talk about the number 7 and the words
shout, trumpet and the Day of the Lord

50
On the 7th Month of God
  • 1Kgs.82 And all the men of Israel assembled
themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the
month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
  • Lev.2324 Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of
the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of
blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
  • 27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month
there shall be a day of atonement it shall be an
holy convocation unto you and ye shall afflict
your souls, and offer an offering made by fire
    unto the LORD.

51
7th Month of God
  • 34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be
the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the
    LORD.
  • 39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh
month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the
land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven
days on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on
the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
  • 41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD
seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for
ever in your generations ye shall celebrate it
    in the seventh month.

52
Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets a memorial
of what?
  • 9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto
thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear
when I speak with thee, and believe thee for
ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto
    the LORD.
  • 10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the
    people, and
  • sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them
    wash their clothes,
  • 11 And be ready against the third day for the
third day the LORD will come down in the sight of
all the people upon mount Sinai.
  • 12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people
round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves,
that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the
border of it whosoever toucheth the mount shall
    be surely put to death

53
  • 13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he
shall surely be stoned, or shot through whether
it be beast or man, it shall not live when the
trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the
    mount.
  • 14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the
people, and sanctified the people and they
    washed their clothes.
  • 15 And he said unto the people, Be ready
against the third day come not at your wives.
  • 16 And it came to pass on the third day in the
morning , that there were thunders and
lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and
the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud so that
all the people that was in the camp trembled.

54
  • 17 And Moses brought forth the people out of
the camp to meet with God and they stood at the
    nether part of the mount.
  • 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke,
because the LORD descended upon it in fire and
the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a
furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
  • 19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded
long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake,
and God answered him by a voice.
  • 20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on
the top of the mount and the LORD called Moses
up to the top of the mount and Moses went up.

55
Plurality of God
  • 21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down,
charge the people, lest they break through unto
the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
  • 22 And let the priests also, which come near to
the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD
    break forth upon them.
  • 23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people
cannot come up to mount Sinai for thou chargedst
us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and
    sanctify it.
  • 24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee
down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron
with thee but let not the priests and the people
break through to come up unto the LORD , lest he
    break forth upon them.
  • 25 So Moses went down unto the people, and
    spake unto them.

56
  • Exod.20 18 And all the people saw the
thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of
the trumpet, and the mountain smoking and when
the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar
    off.
  • Lev.23 24 Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of
the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of
blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

57
Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets
  • This is, we believe, a shadow or rehearsal of the
warning that the end of the world is near.
  • The Messiahs 2nd coming!

58
Day of Atonement
  • Lev.25 9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of
the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the
seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye
make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

59
Day of Atonement
  • Josh.6 4 And seven priests shall bear before
the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns and the
seventh day ye shall compass the city seven
times, and the priests shall blow with the
    trumpet s.
  • 5 And it shall come to pass, that when they
make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when
ye hear the sound of the trumpet , all the people
shall shout with a great shout and the wall of
the city shall fall down flat, and the people
shall ascend up every man straight before him.
  • 6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests,
and said unto them, Take up the ark of the
covenant, and let seven priests bear seven
trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the
    LORD.
  • 8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken
unto the people, that the seven priests bearing
the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on
before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets and
the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed
    them.

60
  • 9 And the armed men went before the priests
that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward
came after the ark, the priests going on, and
    blowing with the trumpets.
  • 13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of
rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on
continually, and blew with the trumpets and the
armed men went before them but the rereward came
after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on,
    and blowing with the trumpets.
  • 16 And it came to pass at the seventh time,
when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua
said unto the people, Shout for the LORD hath
    given you the city.
  • 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew
with the trumpets and it came to pass, when the
people heard the sound of the trumpet , and the
people shouted with a great shout, that the wall
fell down flat, so that the people went up into
the city, every man straight before him, and they
    took the city.

61
How is the Day of Atonement a shadow of the 2nd
coming.
  • Could this be the Day of the Lord?

62
Day of the Lord
  • Isa.2 12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall
be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and
upon every one that is lifted up and he shall be
    brought low

hand it shall come as a destruction from the
    Almighty.

desolate and he shall destroy the sinners
    thereof out of it.
  • Isa.34 8 For it is the day of the LORD's
vengeance, and the year of recompences for the
    controversy of Zion.

LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the
    Almighty shall it come.

his army for his camp is very great for he is

met him or went into the house, and leaned his
hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
  • 20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness,
and not light? even very dark, and no brightness
    in it?

    burned up.

66
Leviticus 259
  • Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile
to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month,
in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet
    sound throughout all your land.

67
Day of Atonement
  • Rev.10 7 But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he hath
declared to his servants the prophets.

the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away and there was no more sea.

coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a
    bride adorned for her husband.

be his people, and God himself shall be with
