  • Objective was to develop a description of the
    natural circulation based passive safety systems
    implemented in the designs begin studied by the
    CRP participants
  • CRP Participants have provided IAEA with brief
    descriptions of their designs.

  • Arrange write-up for IRIS
  • Remove experimental data and code calculations
    from system descriptions
  • Provide introductory table for each system
    description and issue to CSIs for review. (Basic
    operating data and list of passive systems for
  • Core Heat Removal
  • Containment Heat Removal
  • Provide an example on integrated passive system
    response to accident scenario addressing accident
    mitigation sequence/ philosophy and issue to
    CSIs to add a similar section to their system
    descriptions.
