• Innovation in Hamburg is a political priority
• Three agencies (TBZ, TuTech, MAZ)
• Fusion TBZ-TuTech 1996 and TuTech-MAZ in 2004
• TuTech Innovation since 2004 as central agency
  (51 TUHH 49 Hamburg)
• As City of Knowledge (2005) it wants to show a
  culture of innovation
• Diversity of initiatives in Life Sciences, IT,
  Multi-Media, Nanotechnology, Maritime
  Technologies, etc
