prepared marriages, reduce divorce rates, and
increase financial and emotional support of
children by non-custodial parents.

Holistic Asset-Based Approach
  • Training 7 Habits of Successful Families in
    Jacksonville
  • Teaches concepts that set the stage for self
    efficacy and increase relationship skills using
    an inside-out approach.
  • Issue Specific Services
  • Access to 54 partners offering services to assist
    families in achieving goals established during
    training.

Removing Barriers to Participation
  • Childrens Program - While parents attend the
    training classes, children participate in
    Character Building Childrens Program at the same
    site.
  • Food When workshops occur during normal meal
    time, a meal is provided. Snacks are provided
    even when a full meal is not.
  • Transportation - Bus Tickets can be made
    available when needed.

  • The word means make easier
  • It is a method of interacting with students that
    enhances their learning experience.
  • It incorporates a variety of techniques including
    coaching, modeling, mentoring and positive
    reinforcement.

    learners due primarily to the work of Malcolm
    Knowles, who developed the principle of
    Andragogy.
