Brick definition
What does a "brick" represent? To exploit the
fine grain modularity permitted by the web based
training system, the content of SUPPREM is
organized in small units that correspond to 1 or
0.5 credit . These bricks can ultimately be used
to compose full credit courses, through a
combination of interelated topics.

Portal Platform Definitions
  • Training portal This type of site is used as
    entry door on Internet for a learning community
    registered into an e-Learning activity. Those
    portals have a marketing logic to various degrees
    but can also be used to offer services.

  • Pedagogical platform or LMS for "Learning
    Management System" A program to assist open
    distance trainings. This type of program gathers
    the necessary tools for the main three users -
    trainer, student, administrator - of a system
    that has for first objective the distance
    consultation of  pedagogical contents, individual
    apprenticeship and tutoring. It can also manage
    administration aspects of the training.
