Starting up your iBook

• When you start up your iBook for the first time,
  the password to log in is student.
• Click Log in.

What is your User Name and Password?

• Your homeroom teacher will give you a password
  sticker when you receive your iBook.
• Find the date of your birthday in your Agenda and
  place the sticker on that page.
• Memorize both your user name and your password.

Passwords

• Keeping your password secure is very important.
• Do not share your password with other students.
• You will change the password of your computer to
  the last 4 digits of your student number.

Heres how to change it

• After entering the student as your password, the
  desktop looks like this

Open System Preferences from the dock. Click once
on the light switch icon.

• Click on Accounts.

Before you can make changes, you will be asked
for the current password--student

• Type student here.
• Your new password is the last 4 digits of your
  student number.
• Enter the 4 digit number again in Verify.

• Click Change Password.
