• 14 countries joined the GDDS with IMF and World
  Bank assistance
• Countries received more than 200 technical
  assistance missions
• Improved their macroeconomic/ financial and
  socio/demographic data

• Countries make the development of their
  statistical system part of their national
  development strategy
• Effective coordination nationally, regionally,
