Why Should We Study The Old Testament?

• For whatever things were written before were
  written for our learning, that we through the
  patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have
  hope. (Romans 154)
• Now all these things happened to them as
  examples, and they were written for our
  admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have
  come. (I Corinthians 1011)
• We can learn lessons about faith, patience, hope,
  love, success, failures, etc. God blesses and
  comforts the obedient!
• The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed
  and the New Testament is the Old Testament
  revealed. Think of anticipation versus
  realization.
• Remember The Old Testament is not in
  chronological order which is just like the New
  Testament.

  monarchy.
