Open a new Excel page and enter your data for the
graph starting with column A, row 1 and continue
this until all of your data has been entered.

For the X-axis I entered days of the week and for
the Y-axis, the number of bus passengers per day.

Click on the icon on the top tool bar that looks
like a bar graph and a window will pop up. Pick
the line graph option. Then from there the
computer will prompt you for the next few steps,
follow the directions, name each axis and press
finish.

This is an example of a finished line graph made
in Excel. There is a key on the side to separate
each set of data entered. There is a title for
the graph and both axis are properly labeled.
