Title: CMLAService Provider Process Order Creation

1
CMLA-Service Provider Process Order Creation
  • Revision 1.2

2
Step 1 Send Rights Issuer Request
  • In order to start a commercial service, the
Service Provider needs a Rights Issuer
    Certificate signed by CMLA.
  • Create RSA 1024bit public / private key
    pair()()
  • Compute the SHA-1 value over the public key()
  • Create a Certificate Request()
  • Store the Certificate Request in a DVD-R
  • Complete the Rights Issuer Certificate Ordering
    Form
  • Send the DVD-R and the Ordering form to CMLA
  • () Each of this item must comply with the CMLA
    Technical Specification
  • () The RI Private Key must be handled according
to the confidentiality provisions and the
Compliance and Robustness rules defined in the
    Service Provider Agreement
  • CMLA Address
  • CMLA LLC
  • 225 Cochrane Circle, Suite B
  • Morgan Hill, California 95037 USA
  • Tel 1 408 776-2014
  • Fax 1 408-779-9291

Step 2 - Receive the Invoice
  • CMLA will send the invoice via email to the Main
Contract Contact as it appears in the Service
    Provider Agreement.
  • The invoice contains
  • Rights Issuer Certificate Signing fee
  • Handling fee

6
Step 3 Make the Payment
  • Service Provider pays CMLA the amount of the
    invoice
  • Banking details
  • Banking details are communicated to adopters by
    direct contact with CMLA Services
  • Notice when wiring funds, please pay your bank
wire fees (and that of the "intermediary" bank -
usually about 20). CMLA does not enlist the
services of an intermediary bank so it will not
pay for use of such services. Including this
amount in a wire transfer would likely pay for
any intermediary bank charge (you may wish to
contact your company's bank to find out exact
    amount).
