IMS is a global coalition of educational,
commercial and government organizations working
to define open standards for Internet learning
technology.

• PeopleSoft is an IMS Investor and Advisory Board
  member. We also lead the work group defining
  standards for the interoperability of internet
  learning systems with Enterprise Systems (Student
  Administration, Human Resources, Financial
  Systems, Library Management)
