    and their respective organizations and
    communities

    friendly consultants - colleagues and faculty -

    designed for the health sector
  • promotes the development of a sustainable and
    integrated approach to health worldwide
    encompassing health promotion, prevention and

Evolution of the IMHL concept
  • builds on two successful programs the
    International Masters Program in Practicing
    Management (IMPM) and the McGill-McConnell
    Program for National Voluntary Sector Leaders
    both inspired by Dr. Henry Mintzberg, named one
    of the most influential management thinkers in
    the world by the Financial Times
  • is designed around leadership mindsets, a
    dynamic model to explore different realms of
    management the ability to transform people,
    organizations, systems and their contexts
  • offers a tremendous opportunity to develop health
    leaders at the worldwide level by drawing on the
    international expertise of McGills Faculties of
    Medicine and Management

  • The learning is concentrated on the needs of
    participants and their respective organizations
    and communities
  • The program is delivered in five twelve-day
    modules over a
  • 16-month period
  • Each module corresponds to a specific leadership
    mindset
  • Other educational activities include an impact
    project, managerial exchanges, reflection papers,
    personal tutoring, self-study and a final paper
